What is your passion? We welcome High School students to fulfill their community/co-op hours. We encourage you to talk to us and we will help you find your gifts or passions. Music, Arts, Sports, Crafts, Computers .... Based on what we discover we will set up free programs to be open for the children of our area. Most will be free of charge. We invite adults to share their skills with us. Quilting, Automotive Maintenance, Knitting, Finance Planning and Budgeting, ???? Let us help each other to make this community one that welcomes everyone with open arms and lends a helping hand to those that are in need. CHRISTIAN ROCK BAND Join our newly formed Rock Band! Like to play instruments or to sing? Looking for a drummer!! Call Anne Goodwin at (905) 751-0920 for more info and when practise time is (usually Sunday night at six) Children's Choir - after Children's Church Sundays 11:30 to 12 A big, big THANK YOU to PAUL who generously donated two excellent guitars for our youth and children's music program. We would have liked to thank him in person, but missed him when he dropped them off, and we don't know his last name either. Adam, our first volunteer student teacher, has done an outstanding job teaching 28 children in almost 70 community hours to play guitar. Thank you so much Adam! You have done a tremendous job and you have done it with joy! We treasure you and the children love you. God bless! |
