World Vision (organized by Sunday School and Youth Group):Give the gifts that change lives. The Youth Group and Sunday School are promoting a very special project this Christmas through World Vision. By choosing a gift from among sixty unique and meaningful items, you can help child or family somewhere in the world (incl. Canada) in the name of someone you wish to honour. You can give chickens, goats, medical supplies, or even help a community dig a well. Great gift for teachers, too. All of these ideas and more are available through catalogues found at the back of the church with our World Vision display. We ask that all donations be given through Christ Lutheran as we would like to keep track of what has been given on an oversized chart by the display table. Supporting the Yellow Brick House in Aurora (by Congregation):From our summer fun fair, half the proceeds of $658 were given to the Yellow Brick House to support their services to the community. Our congregation has also offered their services as needed.
